When we set off to plan Jamie & Tyler’s destination weekend in Beaver Creek, Colorado the pandemic wasn’t even a blip on our radar. 8.8.20 sounded like the most perfect date to have a wedding. 8 being close to the infinity symbol, the date made numeric magic. 

Then the pandemic hit.

The world was turned upside down. On again, off again local laws and venue cancelations kept us on our toes. Jamie & Tyler stayed the course and weathered the storm through it all. After their initial venue, Beano’s Cabin, canceled their wedding, we found solace at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. 

The wedding weekend went off without a hitch. The welcome party at Vail Brewing Company a casual way to kick off the weekend. The following day, the men golfed at the Cordierria Club while the ladies attended the spa for yoga and massages. The rehearsal dinner was held at the stunning Sonnealp Club with perhaps the most stunning view of the Vail Valley. On the wedding day, the sun was bright as the vivid flowers Jamie desired. 

Late into the evening, while guests were dancing the night away, snacking on breakfast burritos, it was easy to be grateful for such a spectacular day during such a challenging time.
