Tina & Ben are another example of a couple that compliments each other well. Ben is quiet, pensive and executes details. Tina is social, talkative and imaginative. The two of them are perfect together. Tina is from Hawaii and they both agreed a wedding on O’hau was the right place to be. They were married in the same place Tina’s parents had been married many years earlier. Often a wedding planner can get “stuck” on a time line. They can push away moments for the sake of keeping to the schedule. I was never more grateful for my ability to be flexible with time; when at the reception a young teen jumped on the dance floor to do a hula for the wedding couple. He was so moved by their love, he couldn’t resist. As the live band played traditional hula music, he moved so efficiently, it was mesmerizing. As soon as he was done, an Auntie jumped on the floor and danced in honor of the couple. All in all, about four guests performed impromptu dances and it magical! Love was in the air!
After seeing the amazing job she did with my sister-in-law's wedding in Omaha, we knew we needed to hire Carrie for our destination wedding in Hawaii. Carrie was absolutely amazing to work with. Not only did she plan our Hawaiian-themed engagement party in Omaha in less than two weeks, she also planned our destination wedding in Hawaii for 190 guests. Carrie found us amazing local vendors and worked carefully with the hotel and vendors to ensure that the day went smoothly. The day went off without a hitch, and if there was one, Carrie took care of it without us knowing. We were so blessed to have Carrie as our planner!
