Mallory and Marcus met in a pre-law program. It’s sort of a meet-cute, she was the President of the mock trial team, and he was a member of the team. He said the moment he saw her, he knew he wanted to date her. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, we had to plan the wedding twice. The second version we planned and executed was beyond anyone’s expectations. They say, all things happen for a reason, and I believe that to be true. The second version of their wedding day was very intimate and full of meaning, the way a wedding should be. I had to walk the ceremony copy to the officiant, her father, after he walked her down the aisle. I will never forget turning around and seeing the small crowd, there was not a dry eye to be seen. I’ve never seen so many people cry tears of joy at one time. I felt completely moved, like never before. After the wedding day, many of the partners who helped us, commented on how Mallory and Marcus’ ceremony was how weddings are supposed to be: Full of true love and happiness for the couple. We were all moved by this wedding. And, I think the photos show the true, uninhibited joy of their wedding day.
Carrie Dayton creates the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen! After planning two weddings for my family I can truly say that she is an artist. Carrie is able to understand who you are and your vision and then bring it to life. She took care of every detail from last minute changes to putting my favorite candles in the bathroom. She took all the stress out of the process and made our day so special. Carrie will always be part of the family and we will always be so grateful to her!
